I have been using the Garlic/Mullein Oil for my horses' ears for about three weeks, maybe three or so times a week. Their ears are soft and bug free. Their faces also seem to attract less insects. I love this product. The best I have tried for ear issues. I also put a drop or two on some of the bony parts of their legs to keep flies away before I use the spray. Seems to help.
I bought my first Lamancha doe, and she had crusty ears. I googled ear infection in goats, and fiasco farm popped up. My doe had the milky white stuff in her ears and if you squeezed the bottom of them they made a squishy noise and were swollen closed. I used your drops yesterday, and one of her ears the swelling has gone down so much, air can get in now. The other ear is much better than it was, but still swollen. I am thinking by tomorrow the swelling will be gone in that ear too. What a great natural product!! I put some in my dog's yeasty ears today and I am excited to see how it does. Thank YOU!!!!
One of my Nigerian Dwarf wethers had a severe ear mite problem so I tried the Garlic/Mullein Oil on them and couldn't believe how quickly they improved and got well. Then the bugs have been so bad this year that some of my horses were breaking the ear nets on their fly masks and their ears were getting severely bitten on the inside so I tried the oil on them putting just 2 drops on my finger to distribute it inside of their ear. The sores in their ears healed immediately and the bugs decided that they didn't want to bother their ears. I now apply it every 2 days with very good results. Then my horse with Sweet Itch had an outbreak so I applied the oil to his spots and again, the healing was faster than anything that I have ever seen and the No See-ums don't want to bother being around the garlic. I apply that once daily unless the weather gets hotter and/or more humid, then I apply it 2 times daily. I also use Fly Armor on the horse with Sweet Itch which does a lot of the work t [...read more]
Love all the products I've tried. This one cleared up a problem with my cats ears. The goats had an episode of balding ears and I used it on them and it cleared right up.I also use the dewormer and am trying out some new (for me) products.
I love this website and refer to it often if I have a question about anything goat related.
Thanks for all the time you put into building this website , its in my favorites.
I used this on a mini llama whose ears were awful ... within a few days' time, the ears were as clean as could be and using several times a week kept whatever critters were annoying him at bay. Am going to use this with another mini who'd been away for several months and whose ears are a mess. I'm relying on past excellent experience to make her feel ever so much better. Highly recommend.
