Shoo-Fly Spray Mix

This is a mixture of high quality therapeutic grade 100% pure essential oils: Citronella Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Geranium (especially known to deter ticks), Lavender, Lemon Grass, Peppermint and Tea Tree), plus a natural surfactant called Tween 20 (made from coconut oil and sorbitol (obtained from fruit); which keeps the oils dispersed in water for easy spray application.)

How to use: Mix in a spray bottle. Add 2 - 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp.) of mixture for every 100 ml of water or apple cider vinegar. Shake well. Spray on the animal or human you wish to keep flies and insects from biting.

For external use only. Do not use undiluted. Do not use on cats.

This works great but you do have to apply it daily. You can almost hear the goats sigh when I'm done spraying them because they can finally stand still! We live next to horses so no matter how clean I keep our side, we have flies. I ran out of herbal mix and bought some hard core stuff yesterday at feed store. After reading the label I decided I just couldn't put it on my goats. I was hoping for a frost so I could order fresh herbal spray mix next year but it hasn't happened yet. Thanks, Molly!

This is great fly control. Using it with free range chickens makes the flys a non-issue for our goat barn.

We love it! I keep a spray bottle in the barn for the horse and another in the house for people.
